herbal products
Just Herbals believes that herbal medicine is an ancient practice and our bodies have evolved with plants as our food and medicine over time. It is because of this inherent relationship that our bodies positively respond to plants for nourishment and healing. All of our herbal products are handmade in small batches with high quality ingredients and herbs grown at Just Herbals or bought from organic sources. Enjoy!

herbal tea
Our herbal tea is made with freshly dried herbs from our garden, or herbs we ethically wild-harvest around Cape Ann. Since we can't grow green and black tea in New England climes we order them from organic sources because we have plenty of people in the North Shore who enjoy caffeine in their cups and want to accommodate these folks! All teas come loose and the taste, color and freshness are incomparable to tea bags sold from big companies at the store. Big tea companies usually process their herbs almost to a powder so they can fit all the ingredients into the small tea bags. This usually compromises the quality of herbs as precious volatile oils are lost during processing and thus lessens the shelf life & freshness of the tea. At Just Herbals we harvest herbs at peak potency, dry the herbs in optimal conditions, and minimally process them which shows through in vibrancy and freshness you can see, taste and smell - all things essential to a good cup of tea.
Natural body care
At Just Herbals we believe cosmetics should be like food for our bodies & since skin is the biggest organ and absorbs everything that's applied to it, we want to use ingredients you can read & that are safe enough to eat.

Infused Honey
TincturesA tincture is plant matter (like leaves, flowers, roots or berries) extracted into alcohol, sort of like a vanilla or almond extract. The plant matter sits & concentrates in the alcohol for a month or so, then it's strained out & you can squirt a dropperful of the tincture either under the tongue or in a small amount of water, juice or tea. Taking a dropperful of tincture is almost just like drinking a concentrated cup of tea! (Minus the hot steamy goodness :) Many people that use herbs medicinally will take tinctures daily because it's easier than making three cups of tea a day.
All Just Herbals tinctures are made with organic grain alcohol, herbs, water and sometimes a little glycerine. I don't have a lot of pre-made pretty labels yet, but eventually they'll all look like the picture to the left. Please also note, I'm not a doctor! I can't prescribe or diagnose disease in any way, shape or form. I can help educate people about supporting healthy functions of the body and that's about as far as it goes. If you have any questions about specific herbal tinctures, please don't hesitate to ask and I will help in any way I can. There's also a plethora of information on the internet now. Check out the Resources page on this site for information I trust and reference! Prices:** 1oz. $10 2oz. $18 4oz. $36 8oz. $60 **Please specify the name of the herb you'd like as a tincture in the space provided above the "Add to Cart" button.
